3.   How does the Worldwide qualifier work? 

  • The Worldwide qualifier is a global strongman competition held over a single weekend, with events hosted across more than 20 countries. All events follow the same rules, equipment regulations and scoring system. This format delivers the energy and camaraderie of in-person competition while providing athletes an official world ranking based on their total axle deadlift and log lift score- enhanced by the shared excitement of competitors lifting simultaneously around the world 

 

4.   How do I apply to host a Worldwide qualifier?

5.   How do I find out where my nearest Worldwide qualifier is? 

  • Details on locations can be found on our website under ‘Event Locations’ 

 

6.   How do I register for the Worldwide qualifier? 

  • Registration is done directly with the local host. On our website under ‘Event Locations’ you will find contact details for each host who can help you register 

 

7.   Is the Worldwide qualifier on 21st or 22nd February 2026? 

  • Each location gets to decide whether they do it on 21st or 22nd so if you look on our website under ‘Event Locations’ you will see this information for each location 

 

8.   Do I need a membership to compete in the Worldwide qualifier? 

  • You will need a Static Monsters 2026 Athlete Membership for your results to be counted in the world ranking. Membership can be purchased on the website under ‘Athlete Membership’ 

 

9.   When will the world ranking be available? 

  • The world ranking will be available in Strength Results on the week commencing 23rd February once all locations have completed their qualifier events 

 

10.   Who qualifiers for the World Championships? 

  • Following the Worldwide qualifier, the top 10 from each class based on the world ranking will get an automatic invite 

 

11.   When and where is the 2026 World Championships? 

  • It is on 19-20th September and will be held at ATP Gym, 3830 E Ray Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85044 

 

12.   Is it OK to deviate from any of the log measurements listed under the 2026 equipment regulations? 

  • Yes, the measurements have been provided as a guideline so these can vary. However, the diameter measurements of 10” and 12” must be adhered to
