💪 What Is Static Monsters?
The Static Monsters competition began in 2015, starting as a grassroots strongman event on the Gold Coast of Australia. It quickly grew into a global phenomenon, now with regional qualifiers in over 20 countries, leading to the elite World Championships.
This competition is unique in its simplicity and brutality: athletes compete in two lifts only — the max log press and the axle deadlift from 18 inches. It’s raw, explosive power on display, with no room for error.
The World Championships are the culmination of a year-long circuit of global qualifiers. Only the strongest from each class — men and women, from novice to elite — earn their chance to compete on the world stage.
